The restaurant, inaugurated in May 2003, owes its name to a medieval tax applied in the ports of the Christian world, and which consisted of a tribute to the King of ten percent of the value of the loaded or unloaded goods and fish. The terrace is a prime location in the building, offering a unique view over the Tagus River, all the way from the bridge to the Bugio lighthouse.
